Our client is a local, well established manufacturer and supplier of HDPE pipe and custom engineered fittings, located in Neerabup . Employing over 100 staff, their clients are predominantly in the mining, industrial, civil utilities, government and agricultural sectors within Australian and international markets. We are seeking a trade qualified Boilermaker Welder to assist the Maintenance team in a role that would suit a self-starter with good attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. To be successful you must be flexible and experienced in fixed plant maintenance. Responsibilities: Perform fabrication, repair, and maintenance of metal structures and equipment on-site. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication. Utilize various tools and welding equipment to assemble and weld components. Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to ensure efficient operations. Follow safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment. Assist the maintenance team with improvements, safety and project work. Assist with breakdowns as required. Essential criteria for our candidates include: Qualified Tradesperson with Certificate III in Fabrication or Welding. Preferably 3 years post trade experience. Proven experience as a Boilermaker in industrial environments. Excellent fabrication and welding skills, with knowledge of various welding techniques. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines both independently and in a team environment Ability to identify and troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. An excellent work ethic, a team player and a knowledge sharer. Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and practices. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a diverse team environment The role will work 38 hours plus overtime as required. Immediate start and weekly pay (negotiable).
